Bakersfield, CA (June 22, 2024) – Police in the Bakersfield area were called to the scene of a fatal collision on Friday, June 21st. The accident happened just after 3:00 p.m. on Cecil Avenue near Famoso Porterville Highway.

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, two sedans were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
