Los Angeles, CA – Two Hurt when Car Crashes into Apartment on E. 23rd St.

Los Angeles, CA (May 26, 2024) – Two people sustained injuries when a car crashed into a Los Angeles apartment building early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. in the 200 block of East 23rd Street near Main Street.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Fire Department, a vehicle collided with the two-story building and then caught fire immediately after the collision. A portion of the building also caught fire. Firefighters arrived and were able to extinguish the blaze after approximately an hour. Two people sustained undisclosed injuries as a result of the crash and were transported to an area hospital. There is no update on their conditions at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No further information has been released.
